feathering life

dinner with kids & chris from our call 4 action class at media lab was amazing. so many acronyms discussed its hard to imagine this place is real, so wonderful. dva, nvda, fsf, p2p, ict4d, sms, udds, orms, pgp, sts, gps, gsm, apis, nsms, you name it, we talked about it over wine and good food. hell yes mit, hell yes. now, time to cap it off with a good book and some sleep.

yesterday was great. i woke up early, got to the lab, did some research, went to media lab, sat around and hacked on a project i’ve been working on, and before i knew it, it was 5pm and time to get my night started. but before that, i decided it’d be best to get a quick little bmx session on my new bmx frame. well, that ended in a cracked iphone, jeans ripped from the zipper down, and a bloody nose. i used some packing tape to keep my screen together, used some stapes to staple my pants together long enough to ride to the thrift store to get some shorts, and used some paper towel to keep my nose from leaking while i stapled. long story short, got new pants, used more packing tape, more paper towels, went to a rad editing studio in downtown boston, went to an amazing concert in allston, went to a rad party afterwards in allston, hung out w/ bike polo kids at 3am, rode home a little more inebriated that i should have been at 4am, went to bed happy at 4:30am. things i learned yesterday: 1) i love boston 2) im not as attached my iphone as i though i was. i am psyched on these cracks because they make the screen look pleasurably psychadelic now. 3) im not attached to pants, and never was 4) my nose always bleeds 5) i love bmxing.
