nothing says engineering quite like a 3-person cardboard boat race, especially at MIT. so we entered the contest! we designed a catamaran on the computer tubes that would destroy all other competition and bring down a rain of brimfire from the boat gods. we made sure to calculate that the amount of utter destruction we were about to bring to the pool and competition would not harm surrounding squirrels and hibernating worms. drumroll……our calculations were right! brimfire rained down like niagra falls and decimitated neighboring cardboard box boats…there were pieces of cardboard and flaling bodies swimming all over the pool as Team Bailout cruised to a new pool record time of 1:21 for 100 meters (1.23 m/s for all you joker non-mathemeticians out there, these are tough calculations). our team victory lap included laying waste to neighboring raft islands and pillaging their villages…more pictures to come soon of the subjugation
